Description

We are happy to announce the first international Telescope Array Machine Learning Workshop 2024 (TAML 2024) at Academia Sinica!

The workshop will bring together the developers of a next-generation event reconstruction method, data analyzers, and PIs from the Telescope Array collaboration. The aim of the workshop is to:

  1. Report about ongoing efforts or planned machine learning projects in TA.
  2. Education for students and collaborators in machine learning methods and their applications on TA simulation or data.
  3. Hands-on training for selected computational tools and in the TAi Framework developed here at Academia Sinica, designed for training deep-neural networks to reconstruct surface detector data.

We will provide travel support for limited participants from nearby regions. Please register and apply as soon as possible, indicating whether you require travel support.

The Academia Sinica Grand Challenge SEED program and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) generously support the workshop.

Remote participation will be possible via Zoom.
