Visitors holding foreign passports who plan to make a short visit to Taiwan may be eligible for visa-free entry or a landing visa. Please note that your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry. Please note that, since October 2025, all visitors holding non-Taiwanese passports are required to complete the Taiwan Arrival Card (TWAC) online before arriving in Taiwan. Travelers who do not complete the form in advance may experience a considerably longer processing time at passport control.
