Division of Physical Biology and Biological Physics (PBBP) of the Physical Society of Taiwan was established in 2022 with the mission to promote research and collaboration in the field of biological physics in Taiwan and internationally.
Since its founding, PBBP has organized three successful symposiums, and this year marks the 4th PBBP Symposium – Biological Physics Across Scales: From Single Molecules to Organisms. The meeting will be on Jan. 16 and 17 right after the annual meeting of the Physical Society of Taiwan (TPS) at the same city, Chia-yi, Taiwan. The venue will be at Voco hotel, Chia-yi, Taiwan.
Besides this symposium, there are full of excited talks at the TPS meeting, too. Featured speakers at the TPS meeting include,
Jin-der Wen (Life Science, NTU)
Ren Lee (Chemistry, NTNU)
Hsuan-yi Chen (Physics, NCU)
Chieh-han Lu (Optoelectronics, NTNU)
Pik-yin Lai (Physics, NCU)
Ryota Sakamoto (Physics, Academia Sinica)
Hong-yan Shih (Physics, Academia Sinica)
Byoung Choul Kim (Biomedical Engineering, Incheon National University)
Jeyoong Yoo (KAIST, Physics)
You are cordially welcomed to participate for both meetings. We have 5 Korean delegates from Korean Physical Society to join us for the TPS and the PBBP symposium.
This meeting aims to bring together researchers across the pan-Pacific regions, who work on biological physics at different length scales employing interdisciplinary approaches. This meeting will stimulate collaboration opportunities and strengthen the networking among researchers from the pan-pacific regions.
