Take the [BR13]Songshan Airport to [BL12/R10]Taipei Station. The trip from the airport to Taipei Station takes about 20 minutes. You can then take the Taiwan High Speed Rail to Taichung (60 minutes / NT$675~$700). After arriving at the Taichung HSR Station, you can take a taxi (22 minutes / NT$380) or take the bus to NMNS.
By Taiwan High Speed Rail / Taiwan Railway
- Take the high speed rail and get off at the Taichung High Speed Rail Station. Then, head to platform 13 at exit 6 to take Bus No. 159. Get off at the Botanical Garden (Xitun Road) stop.
- Take the high speed rail and get off at the Taichung High Speed Rail Station. Then, take the Taichung MRT Green Line to the City Hall station. Walk to the City Hall (bus lane) bus stop on Taiwan Boulevard and take a bus toward downtown. Get off at the National Museum of Natural Science (bus lane) stop.
- Take a Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) train to the Taichung Train Station and transfer to a city bus. (For route number, please refer to the following bus route information.) Get off at the National Museum of Natural Science (bus lane) bus stop.
2. By Taxi:
(1) Taxi rank is located outside the Arrivals Lobby. Fares are charged according to distance travelled
(2) Taxis can also be hailed on the road south of the gas station. Fares are charged according to distance travelled.

Take the Taoyuan Metro from Airport Terminal 1 (A12) or Airport Terminal 2 (A13) to Taoyuan HSR Station (A18). The trip from the airport to Taoyuan HSR Station takes about 20 minutes and costs NT$25. You can then take the HSR to Taichung (40 minutes / NT$540). After arriving at the Taichung HSR Station, you can take a taxi (22 minutes / NT$380) or take the bus to NMNS.
