Description

We would like to bring together experts working on neutrino flavor conversions in explosive stellar environments for this workshop. Over the last few years there has been significant progress in unraveling the collective behavior of neutrino flavor conversions in dense environments and their potential impact on related observables. This includes not only understanding the flavor evolution on the mesoscopic scale associated with the collective wavelengths, but also incorporating this phenomenon into the macroscopic scale of astrophysical simulations. On the other hand, various simplifications and assumptions have been taken to shed light on this problem. These fruitful developments bring along different viewpoints and sometimes even seemingly contradicting conclusions. Now it is a perfect time to reconvene, discuss, and learn from each other. With this in mind, we invite colleagues working in this field to come to this workshop and welcome everyone who is interested in joining.

There is no registration fee for this workshop. Registration will open in late October / early November, together with the release of the preliminary list of invited speakers.

Speakers please upload your slides here.
