Overview :

This workshop covers a broad range of recent developments particularly in but not limited to the following topics :

1.       Heavy ion collisions & high-energy QCD

2.       Dense QCD matter & nuclear astrophysics

3.       Dense hadronic & nuclear matter (including nuclear structure)

In recent years, the research subjects in these topics have started to overlap and share several common interests. Both the nuclear-collision experiments and astrophysical observations provide new opportunities to study the many-body effects, transport phenomena, and fundamental properties from nuclear matter to parton degrees of freedom. The primary goal of the workshop is to gather researchers in the relevant fields to exchange ideas and establish future collaborations.

The current workshop is the 3rd joint workshop organized by research institutes in Japan and Taiwan to stimulate international exchange and mutual collaborations in different areas of physics. The information of the previous workshops are available at

The deadline of registration is 11:00 pm, Nov. 2 (Taipei time). No registration fee is required, while the workshop is expected to accommodate around 40 participants and the registration needs to be approved by the organizers.
